The Macaroni Chaat (which comes under fusion Chaat recipes that fuses two diverse flavors into this dish- Indian Bhel with Italian Macaroni Pasta) can be made in no time.
For Macaroni chaat we need boiled Macaroni mixed with some veggies like Onions, boiled potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum, sweet corns along with Tamarind chutney to add a desi flavor to it. Adding Roasted Peanuts are like icing on the cake ass they adds crunch to this chaat.
This is my quick recipe when some surprise guests visits to my house.

Ingredients
2 Cups Boiled Semolina Macaroni (मैकरोनी)
2 Chopped Onions
1 Chopped Tomatoes
2 Medium Boiled Potatoes
Fried Roasted Peanuts
Imli/Tamarind sauce ( As per your taste )
2 Tsp Black Salt
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Jeera powder
Coriander Leaves to garnish at the end (optional)
1/2 Lemon Juice
Directions
- Boiling Macaroni – Add water in a heavy pan and add a little salt and 1 Tsp oil to it. Once water gets boiled add Macaroni to it and boil for 10 minutes.
- Drain out excessive water, rinse in water once again.
- Assembling – In a large mixing bowl add Macaroni, chopped vegetables ( please check ingredients above ), boiled potatoes Spices and Tamarind Chutney to it. Also add Lemon juice to it.
- Mix them well and take them in the serving container. Add peanuts and coriander leaves on it. Macaroni Chaat is ready to be served.
